Silver Spring International Middle School, also known as SSIMS, is a Montgomery County public school for students in grades 6, 7 and 8. Its campus used to belong to Montgomery Blair High School.
Silver Spring International provides both beginning French and Spanish, as well as Spanish for native Spanish speakers, which are available to 7th and 8th graders at the school. It also has french and spanish immersion for all grades
The school is home to both men and women's soccer, basketball and softball. It is also a Middle Years Program School. MYP program
